Fabio Wardley defends his WBO heavyweight world title for the first time against former world champion, Daniel Dubois in Manchester on Saturday.
Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs) faces Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) at the Co-op Live Arena.
Wardley remained unbeaten and claimed the WBO interim crown with a dramatic 11th round stoppage of Joseph Parker in October.
The 31-year-old Ipswich man was then elevated to full champion following Oleksandr Usyk’s decision to relinquish the belt in November.
Dubois heads into his third straight world title fight, but the 28-year-old is looking to bounce back from a knockout defeat.
The Londoner knocked out Anthony Joshua to win the IBF belt, but surrendered it last July in a bid for the undisputed championship to Usyk, halted in five rounds of their rematch.
