Conor Benn has fired a warning to Ryan Garcia ahead of their clash on September 12 in Las Vegas.
Garcia will defend his WBC welterweight world title against Benn at the T-Mobile Arena.
After their clash was announced on Wednesday, the pair traded words on social media, with Benn questioning his rival’s heart and vowing to make him quit.
“You talk too much. I’m gonna smash your head in,” the 29-year-old posted on X.
Garcia fired back: “I told you in person you aren’t a good enough fighter to beat me.

“You forced your self in this position I will show the lesson of rushing into something you just aren’t ready for.”
Benn replied: “You’ve quit once… I’ll make you quit again!

Garcia became world champion at the third attempt in February, dethroning Mario Barrios with a dominant unanimous decision victory.
The 27-year-old saw his victory over then-WBC super lightweight champion, Devin Haney in 2024 overturned to a no contest after he failed a drugs test.
‘King Ry’ was then soundly beaten by Rolando Romero in a bid for the WBA welterweight crown last May.
Benn will challenge for a maiden world title, as he returns to 147 pounds for the first time in over four years.
‘The Destroyer’ overcame Regis Prograis in his last outing in April and his first fight since signing with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.
The bout was expected to be announced last weekend with both men on stage at the UFC 329 ceremonial weigh-ins.
The broadcast situation was reportedly a sticking point, with DAZN, whom Garcia is aligned with, sending a cease and desist letter to Zuffa last month for talking to the Californian.
The situation though has been ironed out with the bout to be aired globally on Paramount+ and on DAZN in the UK and Ireland.
