Johnny Fisher has officially signed a promotional deal with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing after leaving Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
Fisher has been promoted by Hearn’s Matchroom since making his professional debut in 2021, but has now made the switch to White’s Zuffa.
‘The Romford Bull’ will make his debut for the company on September 26 at the Copper Box Arena live on Sky Sports, but an opponent has not been confirmed at this stage.
The British heavyweight revealed last month he had entered free agency and received an astronomical offer from Zuffa, which Saudi Arabian boxing chief, Turki Alalshikh has a majority stake in alongside TKO.
The 27-year-old said he was waiting to see if Hearn was going to match the offer.

The Matchroom Chairman revealed to Pro Boxing Fans that he was not going to match Zuffa’s bid and says he advised him to take the deal.
“Walk, swim or crawl to the Zuffa offer as quickly as you can and sign that contract,” the 47-year-old said.
“That’s my advice to Johnny Fisher.
“I love Johnny. I love the family.
“The biggest problem is the level of opposition he wants to fight, my offer was less than a sixth of what they offered, because no one wants to watch that kind of fight and no one wants to buy a ticket for that kind of fight, so it has a value.
“That’s a brilliant opportunity for Johnny Fisher and he’s got to take that with both hands.
“If the Zuffa offer was half of what it was, I wouldn’t have matched.
“I’m pleased for Johnny honestly.”
Fisher bounced back from his a crushing first professional defeat to Dave Allen last May with a fourth round stoppage of Ivan Balaz in December.
The Romford man was stopped in five rounds by Allen, seven months after emerging with a contentious split decision win over his Doncaster rival.
Fisher becomes the second major Matchroom name to move to Zuffa, after Conor Benn signed a shock deal with them in February.
