Diego Pacheco looks to close in on a world title shot when he faces Immanuwel Aleem in California on Saturday.

Pacheco (25-0, 18 KOs) faces Aleem (22-4-3, 14 KOs) at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson.

Pacheco extended his unbeaten record to 25 straight victories with a hard-fought, unanimous decision win over Kevin Lele Sadjo in December.

The 25-year-old Californian puts his WBC Silver and WBO International super middleweight titles on the line and holds top four rankings with both the WBO and WBC, where Hamzah Sheeraz and Christian Mbilli own the respective belts.

Aleem fell short in a bid for the WBC interim super middleweight crown in March, losing comprehensively on the cards to Lester Martinez.
