The Lamont Peterson vs. Lucas Matthysse weigh-in was held this afternoon in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in advance of Saturday night’s Showtime televised match-up between two of the top junior welterweights in the world — who are ironically fighting this fight at a catch-weight above the division, without any of their titles at stake. So there’s that. Right here, you’ll find the complete Peterson vs. Matthysse weigh-in results, along with a huge collection of photos from the weigh-ins, and more.

  • Lamont Peterson weighs in at 141 pounds
  • Lucas Matthysse weighs in at 140 pounds

Despite the catchweight, Matthysse still comes in on point for the division. So why in the world couldn’t this have been at 140 pounds instead of this ridiculousness? Both men look to be in great condition, and seem ready to get in there and go to war tomorrow evening. This should be a great one.

  • Devon Alexander weighs in at 146.7 pounds
  • Lee Purdy weighs in at 147.8 pounds

As Purdy did not make the welterweight limit, Alexander’s title will not be at stake for him.

  • Shawn Porter: 150 lbs
  • Phil Lo Greco: 150 lbs
  • Anthony Peterson: 136.5 lbs
  • Dominic Salcido: 136.5 lbs

There’s also a bevy of prospects and former Olympians appearing on the undercard, including Brits Anthony Ogogo, and Haroon Khan (Amir Khan’s brother), along with Americans Rau’Shee Warren and Jamel Herring.

Thanks for checking out our Peterson vs. Matthysse weigh-in results and photos, and be sure to check back in with us over the weekend for full post-fight coverage and analysis.
