Lawrence Okolie weighed in over three pounds heavier than Krzysztof Glowacki ahead of their vacant WBO Cruiserweight world title showdown at the SSE Arena tomorrow night.

Okolie (15-0, 12 KOs) bids to claim world title glory in just his 16th fight and the 28-year-old weighed just inside the Cruiserweight limit at 14st 3lbs 6oz, whilst former two-time champion, Glowacki (31-2, 19 KOs) tipped the scales at a lighter 13st 13lbs 13oz, ahead of their clash like on Sky Sports in the UK and globally on DAZN.

The pair were scheduled to meet in December but Glowacki, who last fought to a controversial third round loss to Mairis Briedis in June 2019, tested positive for Covid-19, leaving ‘The Sauce’ to stop late-replacement Nikodem Jezewski inside two rounds.

Okolie, 28, is joined on the bill by fellow 2016 Olympians Joe Cordina and Anthony Fowler both made weight ahead of their clashes with Faroukh Kourbanov and Jorge Fortea respectively.

Commonwealth Cruiserweight champion, Chris Billam-Smith also made weight for his WBA Continental title bout with Vasil Ducar.

Featherweight prospects Ellie Scotney and Ramla Ali both look to pick up their second victories, after impressive debuts with the former facing Mailys Gangloff, whilst the latter tackles Bec Connolly.
