
Rick Reeno has become a regular feature at major boxing events over the last year, including at Saturday’s rematch between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.
Reeno, whose nickname ‘Versace’ was coined by his boss and Saudi Boxing chief, Turki Alalshikh was ringside at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Benn defeated Eubank Jr by unanimous decision.
The American was even pictured in between the British rivals as they faced off at Friday’s weigh in.
It is virtually impossible to miss Reeno, whose sunglasses, extravagant fashion sense, has made him stand out in Saudi-run events.
Reeno, who graduated from St John’s University with a BA in Business Administration and Management, is the CEO of Ring Magazine and has spearheaded the the digital side of the company since Alalshikh bought if from Oscar De La Hoya last November.

The former founder of BoxingScene.com, a role he had for over 20 years, Reeno moved into the position as Chief Operating Office of the Ring last September, before becoming CEO in July.
The Las Vegas native can usually be seen wearing the prestigious Ring belt around his shoulder and has become further known for his exchanges with Eddie Hearn during press conferences.

Reeno will be front and centre in Riyadh on Saturday as David Benavidez defends his WBC light heavyweight title against Anthony Yarde.
Alalshikh has been insistent on fighters on his shows delivering back-and-forth action, calling for less ‘Tom and Jerry’ bouts, a phrase Reeno referenced in a dig at Hearn in July prior to the Ring III card in New York.

“It was a little bit of Jerry and Jerry there.
“The only Tom was Eddie heading for the exit sign when the decision was announced.”

Reeno, who goes by @versaceboxing on Instagram, has built up a following of almost 97,000 and one of his most recent posts saw him boast his expensive attire.
“Versace [hat], Louis [Vuitton top], Versace [shoes], Versace [sunglasses].
“Custom [necklace], Rolex, this is Datejust II custom bezel.”
