Analysis

One figure that seems a bit surprising is that there isn’t much of a disparity between Maidana winning a decision and winning the fight by stoppage. I find it hard to imagine Maidana winning on the scorecards, his best chance is to score the shocking knockout. So if you were inclined to take a chance, you could pair up Maidana by KO at +700 and Maidana to win at +500 for a nice parlay.

Bet against Mayweather at your own risk, of course. He’s never lost for a reason, and you shouldn’t let yourself lost in the hype of this rematch either. While the first fight was fun, and it was more or less even through the opening six or eight rounds, it was all “Money” down the stretch. He swept the final four rounds leaving a close but comfortable 116-112 scorecard the most reasonable judgement of that original bout. That means we’re being sold a 2nd version of something which may not have been as close as people seem to recall to begin with.

More than that, Mayweather likely won’t let Maidana do the same things early on that he did last time. The most logical conclusion, of course, is that Mayweather performs even better this time and wins the fight that much more easily.

The choice is up to you, though. So whether you think Mayweather maintains his unbeaten ledger or Maidana shocks the world, don’t forget to take advantage of our exclusive promotion and sign up for Bovada to get your 50% deposit bonus today!
