Taylor vs Pili results: Katie Taylor called time on her illustrious career by dominating Flora Pili in Dublin. She became an undisputed champion for a third time, on a night which also saw a dramatic Allen Carty no contest.
As expected, Taylor easily outpointed Pili to become the undisputed super lightweight champion in front of 83,000 fans at Croke Park.
Award-winning Irish boy band Westlife performed before Taylor’s raucous ring walk in front of 83,000 fans.
From the opening round, Taylor showed the gulf in class between the pair. She stalked her opponent consistently beating her to the jab.
Taylor was doing as she pleased, with Pili unable to find her range and land anything of note. The Irish great connected with a pair of sharp combinations in another dominant fourth round.
The visitor appeared reluctant to engage. Every time she did, Taylor met her with a flurry of punches.
Pili started to let her hands go in the seventh round. Despite shipping some clean punches, the Frenchwoman was able to break through Taylor’s guard with some solid shots of her own.
Although Pili appeared to be growing in confidence she remained hesitant to pull the trigger. She needed a knockout entering the final round.

Taylor swung for the fences in the final seconds of the bout to the delight of the partisan crowd.
The result was a mere formality. Two judges scored the bout 100-90, while another scored it 98-91, crowning Taylor the undisputed super lightweight champion.
Taylor retires as an undisputed lightweight champion, two-time undisputed super lightweight champion and a professional record of 26-1. Her only defeat came to Chantelle Cameron in 2023, which she avenged six months.
Allen Carty no contest
Thomas Carty dramatically went flying out the ring and his heavyweight contest with Dave Allen was declared a no contest during the first round.
Carty landed an uppercut followed by a right hand and pinned Allen back to the ropes.
Allen responded with a right hand and with Carty complaining that it landed behind the back of his head, the Irishman fell through the ropes, crashing onto the floor and unable to continue.

Medics gave Carty immediate attention and a long delay followed.
With Carty back on his feet and able to leave the ring, the referee declared the bout a no contest.
Paddy Donovan cemented his position at the summit of the welterweight division, with Tyrone McKenna withdrawn on the advice of the ringside doctor during the fifth round.
Donovan floored McKenna to the body in the second round, but ’The Might Celt’ rose to his feet and remained in the fight.
However, after a hard left hand caused a cut above McKenna’s right eye, the ringside doctor assessed the Irishman.
On the advice of the ringside doctor, referee Paul McCullagh waved off the contest.
Donovan is the number one ranked contender to Liam Paro’s IBF welterweight world title.
Taylor vs Pili Results – Remaining Undercard
Molly McCann claimed a unanimous decision over Sylwia Doligala in their bantamweight battle. Meanwhile, Taylor Bevan dropped Emmet Brennan five times in a ruthless sixth round TKO win at welterweight.
Joe McGrail improved his unbeaten record to 14 straight wins. The Liverpool super bantamweight wiped out Matthew Boreland with a wicked left hook to the body in the fifth round.

Elsewhere, Bobbi Flood saw off Jack Swallow on points, while heavyweight prospect, Adam Olaniyan dispatched of Matej Hudak in the opening round.
Rounding off the Taylor vs Pili results, Paul Ryan overcame Paddy Gallagher on points, but not before Gallagher was incorrectly announced as the winner.
