Heavyweight Alen Babic will face Shawndell Winters on the undercard of Dillian Whyte’s interim WBC Heavyweight title defence against Alexander Povetkin at Matchroom HQ on Saturday.

Babic, (3-0, 3 KOs) who is managed by Dillian Whyte has been sparring the Brixton man in Portugal ahead of Saturday’s night’s Matchroom Fight Camp finale, with victory for Whyte securing a shot at champion WBC champion Tyson Fury.

The big punching Croatian, nicknamed ‘The Savage’ has yet to go past three rounds and faces experienced American Winters (13-3, 12 KOs) over eight rounds in the gardens in Mascalls.

A former NABF titlist, the 39-year-old, Winters was stopped by former WBO world champion Joseph Parker inside five rounds in Texas in February.

Babic vs. Winters lands on a huge night of action that sees Irish legend Taylor (15-0, 6 KOs) put her WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO and Ring Magazine Lightweight crowns on the line against Belgium’s Persoon (44-2, 18 KOs) in the biggest rematch in women’s boxing.

Luther Clay (13-1, 5 KOs) defends his WBO Global Welterweight Title against Chris Kongo (11-0, 6 KOs).
