The winner of Whyte v Pulev to challenge Anthony Joshua for the IBF belt.
Dillian Whyte and Kubrat Pulev been instructed to fight by the International Boxing Federation (IBF), according to promoter Eddie Hearn.

It would be a showdown that could potentially lead to the winner becoming the next mandatory challenger to Anthony Joshua for the IBF belt.
Joshua who currently holds the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles after producing a subdued performance and outpointing Joseph Parker. On Saturday night in Cardiff. The Briton took the WBO belt from the New Zealander to add it to his WBA ‘super’ and IBF titles. The 29 year-old went the distance for the first time in his career. After Joshua’s victory, Whyte speaking to Sky Sports, he was interested in fighting Alexander Povetkin. Whyte said: “I’d fight him next. I just told him (Povetkin). He said he’d fight me next. Hearn said he’d make it.”
There were talks of Dillian Whyte facing Deontay Wilder but according to Eddie Hearn Wilder does not want the fight.
Furthermore, Povetkin is the mandatory challenger to the WBA belt, who produce a brutal knockout against David Price on Saturday night. After the fight Povetkin was called out by Whyte.
However, the IBF have other plans for Whyte and want to see him fight Pulev to set up a mandatry .
Whyte who is currently the No 1 contender to WBC champion Deontay Wilder’s title and one option is for him. The 29 year-old to switch his attention to a version of the WBA belt to eventually secure his much-wanted rematch with Joshua, to whom he lost in December 2015.
