After all of the recent action over the past few weeks, it’s time to revisit some of our rankings. This past weekend alone, we see the Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs. Steve Cunningham rematch, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Marco Antonio Rubio for Chavez’s (fake) middleweight title, and Nonito Donaire’s debut at 122 lbs against Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. So, that means we need to go back and update our rankings for the cruiserweights, middleweights, and super bantamweights. Take a look right here.

As mentioned, all of the rankings will be updated after the fights mentioned above. But they aren’t the only fights and fighters to take into consideration. At super bantamweight, for example, we also have seen Guillermo Rigondeaux’s win over Rico Ramos, and have gotten news of Abner Mares’ impending move up to the division.

At cruiserweight, Marco Huck plans to move up to heavyweight to test the waters up there, and it’s unclear whether or not he’ll come back down to the division.

At middleweight, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was able to secure the biggest win of his career – but what comes now. Will he meet the real middleweight champion, Sergio Martinez?

As we continue to keep you posted with all of the breaking boxing news regarding these stories and more, check out the updated divisional boxing rankings above and see where everyone stands.
