HBO Boxing is back with their Hey Harold series, with Harold Lederman offering his take on some boxing history and current fighters. Here, Lederman talks about fighting at The Forum, and how huge it was back in the day.
There were tons of big fights in the 1960s and 1970s, from Alexi Arguello, to Muhammad Ali vs. Ken Norton, Napoles vs. Griffith, and many others as well. Now, boxing is back at The Forum with Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Mike Alvarado.
This is a fight which should certainly offer plenty of excitement as well, and maybe it kicks off getting more big boxing bouts back in the area. In the two additional videos, Lederman talks about each man, Marquez and Alvarado, and shares a few of his thoughts on what we may be able to expect on fight night.
