It’s been a while since we have updated the ProBoxing-Fans.com top 10 and top 20 pound for pound rankings. We last revised our boxing P4P list in May, following another Manny Pacquiao dominant affair against Shane Mosley. Since that time, many of the biggest names in the sport have been in the ring at least once.

Most recently, we’ve seen Nonito Donaire vs. Omar Narvaez, Sergio Martinez vs. Darren Barker, Bernard Hopkins vs. Chad Dawson and more. Not to mention the Floyd Mayweather vs. Victor Ortiz fight from September, this summer’s fights with Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, and on down the line. So it’s been a long time, and the pound for pound list definitely needed an overhaul.

So, as mentioned, there’s a lot to consider with the latest top 20 pound for pound, and we had dozens of fights and fighters to look over, update, move up and down, remove entirely or add to the list for the first time.

Four of our previous top 10 fighters have been in the ring, with another seven from the rest of the top 20. That leaves a huge amount of room for upheaval and while the rankings at the very top may be entrenched, the rest of the list certainly looks very different today then it did this past spring.

So go ahead and check out our updated boxing pound for pound ratings and be sure to share your thoughts as well.
