Pacquiao dominated Brandon Rios in Macau on Saturday night, showing that he’s still near the top of his game. Meanwhile, in Manchester, Carl Froch needed the help of the referee to score a stoppage over undefeated challenger Groves.
Of course, there’s been plenty of other recent action in the sport. That includes Andre Ward’s dominant return to the ring following over a year away from action; Nonito Donaire’s comeback fight and move up to Featherweight; the continued age-defying run of the great Bernard Hopkins; the emergence of Mikey Garcia and his move up to Super Featherweight, and much more.
